Obesity in Dogs – FDA Approves PET MED to Slim Dogs

Dog obesity appears to be increasing along with their masters over eating habits. Portly dogs are now able to get prescription diet pill to fight obesity. Since pets seem to mimic their owners, the obesity epidemic has spread to the 4-footed creatures as well.

The FDA has allowed the first doggie diet pill called Slentrol, to line the pharmacy shelf according to an article posted in the Miami Herald - Jan. 06, 2007.

Too much food and not enough exercise has made too many pets get fat. Slentrol therapy is a bet the pharmacy is making that you will not do anything meaningful other than look for a cure in a bottle. They are betting you and your pet will not exercise.
